1. What do you think are the main qualities in a Zubias Brand Ambassador?

“Personally, I believe that becoming a brand ambassador for any business/company requires multiple qualities. You must be passionate, particularly about the brand. To work and associate with people you must have good communication skills, be understanding, honest, confident, open-minded & friendly. To motivate and promote the brand (zubias) you must defiantly have good eyebrows, take pride in your appearance, be committed/hard working, be enthusiastic & have an approachable personality.”

2. How important are your eyebrows to you? In your opinion, what makes the perfect set of brows?

“To me, the eyebrows structure a person face & can complete a whole makeup look. Without a good set of eyebrows on my face, I cannot appreciate the makeup look I have created. Personally, a good set of eyebrows differs from person to person. Everyone has a different facial structure & eyebrow shape to suit their face. But a perfect set of brows in my eyes is blended through the front, carved sharply around the end and at the arch, the start must come in line with the front of your eye & the tip must equal to the end of your eye.”

3. What does your current brow routine consist of?

“My brow routine changes often depending on the products I have in hand & the state my brows are in. I often start off by spritzing my face with a face mist so my brows are damp, I then grab a spooley brush & brush my brows into place. After this I grab my essence brown pencil & draw/darken the ends & arch of my brows so that the shape is sharp. After that I use the essence brow powder with an angled brow brush and go over the area I used before with the powder. When doing this, I bring the excess product towards the front of the brow so that there are no harsh lines and that my brow is blended. Once that’s done & I’m happy with the shape/size/colouring of my brows, I grab my essence eyebrow gel mascara. I use this to set my brows in place and add definition. I use essence products for my brows as they’re affordable and reliable.”

4. If you were stuck on a desert island and could only bring 3 things – what would they be?

“I would bring water so that my body and skin can stay hydrated & so I don’t die of dehydration! I would also bring wholesome/nutritious food like fruit, vegetables, whole grains & nuts. Finally, I would bring my phone so that i can keep up to date with the rest of the world, my social media accounts & know what’s going on.”

5. What is your current favourite beauty trend?

“My favourite current beauty trend is glitter highlight. I have been using this regularly when attending large events & it’s literally my new obsession. I have a weird love for glitter, it’s so fun to use & looks super satisfying once applied to the face. You can apply it anywhere from the cheekbone to under the arch of the brow, it’s affordable, accessible & comes in a variety of colours!”
